# Hacking Statement

**Hacking Statement** is a separate Cosmos Luminosity instrument.

It works through precise language that interrupts an old perception pattern and opens a new inner architecture.

## Function

A Hacking Statement can:

- shift thinking;
- change the felt position of the body;
- interrupt an automatic identity script;
- name a hidden structure;
- open a new choice;
- translate a vague sensation into a working command for the system.

## Difference from ordinary affirmation

A Hacking Statement is not a positive phrase. It is a meaning-code.

It does not try to convince the mind. It gives consciousness a new operating instruction.

The deeper logic of Hacking Statement comes from IT language.

A Hacking Statement starts from the Cosmos Luminosity premise that the person is whole and already carries resources, body wisdom, soul movement, thinking patterns, experience, desires, choice, future lines and the capacity to create changes in their life.

Some inner patterns may support what the person wants to create now. Others may no longer support the chosen goal, project, body state or future version. With the person's consent, Hacking Statement helps bring those patterns into awareness and update the ones the person chooses to change.

A Hacking Statement works with these layers through the metaphor of an inner system of patterns, resources and settings:

1. notice the active inner pattern;
2. name the dualities and judgments inside it;
3. locate soft / hard structures in the system;
4. upgrade what the person chooses to update;
5. restart the system so the old cache does not keep running;
6. bootstrap the resources that were trapped under the old structure;
7. set up those resources for the current goal and future version;
8. let the future touch the current system.

This layer touches dualities:

- right / wrong;
- good / bad;
- allowed / forbidden;
- correct / incorrect;
- what should be / what should not be;
- places where the system judges reality from a binary frame.

### Visual counterpart: A Universe Between Poles

Margarita's first surviving painting, **[[cosmos-luminosity-art|TRUE / FALSE: A Universe Between Poles]]** (c. 2010), is a visual precursor to this layer of Hacking Statement. Darkness and light remain distinguishable while continuously entering one another; living beings emerge across the field between the two poles. The work shows the interval between binary values as a populated, multidimensional universe.

The `/` in the title can be read as a boundary, switch, cut, interface and contact zone. The painting places its attention on everything that becomes visible around this threshold.

### Soft and hard

This layer touches the soft and hard concepts of the world:

- soul / body;
- soft skills / hard skills;
- energy / matter;
- feeling / structure;
- subtle / manifest;
- fluidity / form.

### Upgrade and restart

**Upgrade** means expanding or updating an inner pattern that no longer supports the chosen creation. It may add new functions, update an old module or install a more precise inner operating instruction.

**Restart** means the system needs a reboot after the upgrade, so it does not keep running traces of the old program from cache.

### Bootstrap and set up

**Bootstrap** means lifting the resources, forces, skills, desires, energy and action-capacity that were pressed down by the old structure.

**Set up** means configuring these resources for the current goal, moment, body, project and future version.

### Touch stone / future is shown

The final line points to contact with the future.

A Hacking Statement does not only clear the old configuration. It lets the future touch the current system and show a new direction.
