# Work-transition VOC and demand falsification

Use this reference when validating a broad Cosmos Luminosity entrance such as “I can’t keep working like this.” It records reusable lessons from a 2025–2026 research cycle; paths and counts are examples, not permanent market facts.

## Corrective market lesson

A compelling synthesis is not automatically customer demand. Research found widespread separate use of mental-health, coaching, wellness, and spiritual tools, but no defensible dataset for women 25–55 that measured desire or willingness to pay for one integrated `therapy + coaching + spirituality` offer. Therefore:

- integration can be a delivery mechanism;
- do not use it as primary customer language until first-party behavior validates it;
- use concrete front doors and compare conversion;
- report unknown segment size as unknown.

## Three testable work-transition entrances

1. **Burnout/work redesign:** how to work and live without paying for success with health and the rest of life.
2. **Stay–redesign–leave:** what exactly must change before an irreversible decision.
3. **Post-achievement next chapter:** what follows exit, sabbatical, FI, sale, or a work-organized identity.

Do not assume the largest prevalence cluster is the best CL beachhead. Mass pain may be highly clinical, employer-controlled, or saturated; a narrower high-consequence decision can fit the product better.

## Evidence schema

For each woman retain:

- exact quote, direct URL, date, platform;
- explicit/self-reported gender and age evidence;
- self-stated geography only;
- role and resources without inference from prestige;
- specific work/body/home/relationship pain;
- trigger;
- desired outcome;
- what she fears losing and wants to preserve;
- actual action, purchase, price, or support used;
- reported gain;
- residual gap;
- readiness stage;
- clinical/scope flag;
- confidence and source-access caveat.

## Corpus lanes

### Still employed

Distinguish immediate leave, boundary/HR action, role redesign, container change, and full transition. “I cannot continue like this” is not equivalent to “I want to quit.”

### After change

Capture before/action/after. Deliberately seek positive, mixed, and failed outcomes. Track recovery time, economics, identity, social structure, family/geography, and return-to-work.

### Solutions and gaps

Prioritize explicit use of therapy, medication, doctors, EAP, coaching, advisers, leave, retreats, meditation, books, community, job change, reduced hours, retraining, and entrepreneurship. If accessible text does not name the intervention, mark it absent instead of inferring it.

## Codebook

### Problem

- always-on / cannot switch off;
- work consumes all nonwork life;
- body shutdown: sleep, pain, migraines, sickness, crying, functional impairment;
- unsustainable management scope;
- work–care collision;
- income/title/identity attachment;
- loss of meaning or creativity;
- growth versus life;
- unsafe/toxic container;
- profession-versus-role mismatch;
- entrepreneurship recreates overwork;
- hard season versus durable mismatch.

### Desired outcome

- immediate relief/rest;
- protected leave;
- redesign hours/scope/boundaries;
- preserve career during caregiving;
- lower pressure with acceptable income;
- growth without life consumption;
- decide stay/redesign/leave;
- identify a safer employer;
- redefine success;
- restore health/self/joy/creativity;
- sustainable next-work economics;
- next-step clarity after a break;
- preserve purpose/social structure;
- explore without a permanent identity declaration.

### Actions tried

- push through;
- PTO/sick day;
- medical/mental-health leave;
- career break/sabbatical;
- travel/retreat/relocation;
- meditation/gym/health routines;
- therapy/doctor/medication/EAP;
- coach/course/mentor;
- negotiate flexibility/scope;
- reduced hours/lower-paid role;
- new employer/container;
- retraining/career change;
- entrepreneurship/freelance/portfolio;
- return to employment/previous field;
- savings/runway;
- family/community support;
- self-guided questions/journaling.

### Residual gaps

- rest did not remove burnout;
- travel/relocation did not create direction;
- retreat relief was temporary;
- leave enabled planning but not full recovery;
- economics remain unresolved;
- identity/productivity attachment remains;
- next role is unknown;
- fear of repeating the same employer;
- entrepreneurship recreated overwork;
- family/geography conflict remains;
- symptoms require licensed care;
- structural overload cannot be fixed by resilience;
- outcome is too early to know;
- exploration multiplied options;
- stress reduction removed professional growth.

## Readiness stages

1. Acute capacity failure: stabilization/clinical/occupational support first.
2. Recognition only.
3. Immediate workplace action.
4. Scenario decision: stay/redesign/leave.
5. Window created: leave/resignation/break.
6. Experimenting.
7. Post-change review.
8. Commitment/reassembly.

## Execution pattern

- Use five-record checkpoints.
- Inspect files after timeout; continue from the saved number.
- One serious attempt per blocked source, then switch.
- Publisher headline/RSS evidence can retain title/date/action but cannot support body-level claims; downgrade confidence.
- Audit unique people, URLs, source contexts, recency, explicit gender/age/geography, field completeness, and source bias.
- A multi-person article may yield separate people but not separate URL contexts; disclose this.

## Product translation

The safe sequence is:

`concrete recognition → scope/safety → what specifically is unsustainable → preserve → route (recover/redesign/container/transition) → reversible action → evidence review`.

Do not lead with identity, integration, spirituality, purpose, or a new category if women enter through concrete workload and decision language. Symbolic layers remain opt-in and downstream.

Behavioral validation metrics:

- qualified signup;
- map completion;
- payment/deposit;
- experiment scheduled and completed;
- Evidence Review return;
- route-specific conversion;
- explicit preference for or against symbolic/integrated layers.
